International speaker at ABCD, Birmingham

Last year Judy accepted an offer to be the International Guest presenter at the Annual Conference of the Association of British Choral Directors (ABCD) in Birmingham, UK from August 26th – Aug 28th 2011.

At the Conference she presented two papers: The Ageing Voice and Bel Canto and the Choral Tradition – a contradiction? She also led the vocal warm-ups, a skill for which she is becomingly increasingly well-known, as she develops strategies for innovative and entertaining physical and vocal warm-up exercises.
